PCR-00213 - Added a new AutoLicense feature which makes licensing your Powergold database much easier and faster. It is no longer necessary to exchange numbers verbally when renewing a database license.

DFT-00036 - Added a new multi-monitor support mode for Powergold so that windows will properly remember the monitor they were last opened on and will return to that same window and position next time they are opened.

DFT-00048 - Fixed a bug with scheduler saved highlights where it would sometimes not remember when multiple category/folders were selected.

PCR-00359 - The add song screen has undergone a major rewrite. Not only does it include more controls but it also is easier to use. It also resolves the issue that users have faced in the past with casing (upper/lower case) of titles and artists because of the matching behavior.

DFT-00049a - Fixed a bug where Powergold would give an error if a blank title was entered into the song editor. It now properly prevents this from occurring.

DFT-00049b - Fixed a bug where the song editor would think a simple change in the case (upper/lower case) of a title was an edit and would give an error message when attempting to save the change.

PCR-00358 - When editing a title from within the song editor, the prompt that asks if the edit should apply to all songs sharing the same title now has the ability to be cancelled.

DFT-00050 - Fixed some hints that were being truncated in the user interface.

DFT-00051 - Fixed a bug in the song editor where sometimes if there was multiple song notes it would only display the first one.

PCR-00357 - The scheduler's Auto Edit feature now has the ability to exclude any user-definable set of hours.

DFT-00052 - Improved the way the song editor handles a failed save (like in the case of the user entering invalid data) so it prevents any action from taking place until the condition is resolved by the user or the change(s) cancelled.

DFT-00053 - Fixed a bug with song notes in the song editor where notes might not be displayed properly after a note was deleted.

PCR-00352 - Added advanced artist controls to the add song screen to make adding artists and artist separations to a new song very easy and fast.

DFT-00055 - Updated the add song screen so that keyboard use (as opposed to mouse use) is easier and more consistent.

DFT-00056 - Improved the way the music library filter editor handles cancelling the adding of a new filter when no filters previously existed.

PCR-00261 - Added a global header option to the automation section. A global header is a single, user definable, header that is output at the top of each date. The global header can be used independently or in conjunction with hour headers.

PCR-00350 - After pressing the add song button in music library, the song editor is now automatically placed in edit mode once returning from the add song screen.

PCR-00339 - The old Song Information screen has been completely rewritten from the ground up. The new Song Information screen has too many changes and offers too many benefits to list here. However, here are some highlights:

It is now fully user-customizable.
Each user has an unlimited number of their own unique, customized tabs.
The default tabs emulate the legacy song information screen to make getting started a snap.
Custom fields and research are no longer forced to be relegated to their own, inconvenient, tabs. They are now treated as any other field and can be displayed any place they are needed, in any grouping they are needed.
Advanced searching can be performed by Title, Artist Display Text, or Artist Separation List (with primary/secondary control).
A new Latest Research component now exists in the Song Information screen. It automatically displays each research value for a song based on the latest survey for each research type. So you always have the latest research values immediately accessible.

PCR-00216 - Added an option to the VCS dira Advanced Automation Interface to allow the runtime of an item to be calculated using a formula taking mark_in and mark_out into account. By default this option is disabled.

DFT-00003 - Fixed a bug when printing to PDF (or any other rendered format) when Windows was set to 120 DPI the report was rendered incorrectly.

PCR-00217 - Added a very powerful new feature for performing bulk change operations on history. It is called the History Mass Changer. It lets you operate on any date/hour range and perform a vast array of operations.

DFT-00017 - Fixed a bug when performing a text file update (or auto-update) when the template has x number of rows defined as a header, and when using the "Modify/Add if not Existing" option, under certain circumstances the first x number of records might not be imported.

PCR-00224a - The Streamline Advanced Interface has been updated with 5 new fields.

DFT-00018 - Fixed a bug where the Scheduler's violation window could be resized down to nothing and then not be able to be made visible again without clearing the user setting.

PCR-270, PCR-271 – Updated some elements of the Powergold installer.

DFT-00012 – Fixed a bug when in the scheduler and replacing a scheduled position for which the folder for that position was previously populated but is no longer. In this rare case when you chose a replace song from another folder you would get an error message and the position would not receive the new song.

PCR-00316 - Powergold now has an option to allow Map1 numbers to be manually entered by the user for any new songs manually added to Powergold from within Powergold.

DFT-00014 – Fixed a bug where non-music flagged items would not output to file correctly (the column line-up was off) when saving a music log to file using the save to file option on the main report screen.

PCR-00332 - The GEMA/GVL international report has been updated to meet the latest specification updates.

DFT-00044 – Fixed a bug when saving a music log to file using the save to file option on the main reporting screen where commands, notes, traffic, and DST markers would not obey the same print visibility logic as when performing the more common printing or previewing.

PCR-00333 - A new Research/Survey editor has been added that is much easier to use and more functional.

PCR-00336 - Added the Genesys automation system to the list of supported reconcile formats. It is now possible to reconcile Genesys as-aired files with Powergold.

PCR-00286 – When using the VCS dira sync music option from the Music Library toolbar the Music Library automatically refreshes its data to reflect the latest updates.

PCR-00338 - Updated various captions and user interface elements to improve clarity of functionality.

PCR-00340 - Added a new feature to optionally have the Auto-Reconcile screen automatically open prior to a schedule create or finish. This option is smart and does not open the Auto-Reconcile if there are no dates to reconcile.

PCR-00343 - The dira! interface now optionally automatically adds related artists to the artist separation list for new songs added from the dira! import.

PCR-00346 - A new indicator has been added to the clock editor that instantly lets the user know visually if the currently selected clock is active, inactive, or not used. An active clock is used in the currently active clock grid. An inactive clock is not in the active grid but is in an inactive clock grid. An unused clock is not in any clock grid. Some other minor adjustments were also made to the clock editor such as more items are visible in the clock editor navigation drop down control.

Important notice for users upgrading from a Powergold version prior to version 9.00:

Since this version requires an automatic database conversion (for users on version 8.xx or prior) the same rules apply that have always applied to any Powergold database conversion version:

· Once a database is converted it cannot be accessed via a prior version of Powergold.

· You must create a database backup prior to converting any database. In the unlikely event of a problem during your conversion Powergold support will need to walk you through some simple steps to restore your database properly.

· In the unlikely event of a database conversion failure or any error messages during the conversion you should contact Powergold support for help. A database conversion must complete successfully or the database could be left in an incomplete state. So if there are any problems during the conversion please contact Powergold support even if everything appears fine. A simple restore of a backup is not sufficient after a failed conversion.

· Once a database is converted it cannot be accessed via other network users unless they are on the same version of Powergold.

· The database conversion will happen the first time a database is opened using the new version. A database conversion could take some time to complete (depending on the database itself and if it is located on a network). So you should only perform the database conversion when you are certain you have time to let it complete.

· If you wish to return to a prior version of Powergold you must not simply restore an older database backup into the same database folder. You should contact Powergold support and we can walk you through one extra step that is necessary that takes less than 1 minute.

· You CAN restore an older version database backup into your database folder as long as you are going to allow Powergold to convert the database to the newer version.

PCR-175: Fixed a bug when saving a report (in any of the formats introduced in version 8.29) over a file that was already opened or otherwise locked by another process.

PCR-174: Artists that are not marked as primary as now called secondary artists. The user interface has been updated to reflect this change.

PCR-144, PCR-185: Three new custom user flagging options have been added to the scheduler. Each of the 3 flags can have an unlimited number of user defined flag values and colors. The flags are available on the schedule toolbar.

PCR-167: Many scheduling rules have been renamed to be more consistent across the entire program and to make each rule’s purpose more self-evident.

PCR-171: The Category editor Save As option was not preserving the offset forward looking options. This is now fixed.

PCR-172: The Category editor Save As option did not support the “Song: Same Hour Separation” or “Artist: Same Hour Separation” rules. These are now supported.

PCR-154: Artist separation has been split into 2 separate rules called “Artist: Primary Separation” and “Artist: Secondary Separation”. Now the artist separation for primary artists can be controlled separately from secondary artists.

PCR-170: The “Artist: Yesterday Offset” rule has been broken into 2 separation rules called “Artist: Primary Yesterday Offset” and “Artist: Secondary Yesterday Offset”. Now this offset can have different primary and secondary artist settings.

PCR-169, PCR-136, PCR-180: A new Show Grid interface has been added to allow the definition of different shows to be used by new scheduling rules.

PCR-169: A powerful new scheduling rule as been added called “Song: Same Show Separation”. This new rule will ensure that if a song plays in a certain show that it must wait at least X amount of time before it can play in that show again. The separation time is time between the shows, not time between the plays. Shows are defined using the Show Grid screen.

PCR-136: A powerful new scheduling rule as been added called “Artist: Same Show Separation”. This new rule will ensure that if an artist plays in a certain show that it must wait at least X amount of time before it can play in that show again. The separation time is time between the shows, not time between the plays. Secondary artists can optionally be ignored for this rule. Shows are defined using the Show Grid screen.

PCR-145, PCR-166: A new system log has been added that records Powergold events/activity. Events/activity currently logged include: Changes to clocks, changes to songs, song movement (moving a song into a different category or folder).

PCR-145, PCR-183: It is now possible to view the entire edit history for any song. This information is available from the Song Information screen, the Music Library, and the Scheduler.

PCR-145: It is now possible to view the entire category/folder movement history for a song. This new information is available on the Song Information screen, the Music Library, and the Scheduler. Since historical data of song movements did not exist prior to version 9 there will, of course, be no historical data initially. Therefore, the movement log is initially populated during the upgrade to version 9 based on a snapshot of the category/folders the song has been a part of in scheduling history.

PCR-145: It is now possible to view the entire population history for any category, folder, or packet. This means all movement history of songs into or out of any category, folder, or packet is now available. This new information is available on the Song Information screen, the Music Library, and the Scheduler. Since historical data of category/folder/packet population did not exist prior to version 9 there will, of course, be no historical data initially. Therefore, the population logs are initially populated during the upgrade to version 9 based on a snapshot of the category/folder/packet + song combinations that are in scheduling history.

PCR-160, PCR-161: The old method of reconcile reporting has been replaced with very detailed hourly reporting that never overwrites prior reports. This means a reconcile report will exist for each time an hour is reconciled even if you reconciling that same hour of the same day multiple times. Also added a file identifier option to reconcile report file naming so it is possible to have reconcile reports from multiple formats stored in the same location without fear of overwriting.

PCR-140, PCR-150, PCR-151, PCR-153: Powergold now offers a timestamp field for each song that accurately indicates the last date and time that song was modified.

PCR-149, PCR-155, PCR-157: Version 9 includes the latest version of the Radiomax advanced automation interface. Also the Radiomax interface now correctly imports values for HD Location and Miscellaneous (this fix has already been made available to some users).

PCR-156: Version 9 uses the latest Powergold installer.

PCR-159, PCR-178: Updated various labels and other minor UI elements.

PCR-137, PCR-181: Powergold now offers an unparalleled level of reconcile logging. A detailed report containing complete reconcile history for a date can be generated at any point. And this report can be drilled into further for even more detailed reporting. These reports are available from any reconcile screen. Also, the manual and automatic reconcile screens indicate what dates have been schedule and which have been reconciled.

PCR-142: Separate user permissions can now be assigned to schedule create/finish, preschedule, and unschedule.

PCR-162: The circular clock view in the clock editor has been completely redone and now graphs the entire clock, even if the clock is greater than 1 hour in length.

PCR-163: Fixed a bug that could prevent Powergold from correctly reporting the logged in status of a user to another user. Powergold was correctly aware of another user’s presence but in some cases it was not displayed to the user correctly on the users screen.

PCR-164: Powergold now offers a more detailed message when a user attempts to access a database with a different version number.

PCR-165: Fixed a minor bug in the Music Library when in a song list where some options in the tools menu appeared available when they should not have.

PCR-176: Improved the multi-select rule editing feature in the Category Editor.

PCR-182: Fixed a bug in the music log print designer where some settings available as choices were not valid designs. Users will need to set up any music log printing memorized hours again if he/she uses that feature.

PCR-184: Since version 8.28.001.0000 there were some files that could be left in the Powergold installation direction after a Powergold uninstall. These files are now removed when Powergold is uninstalled.

PCR-186: The context sensitive help system was not working properly on Windows Vista. This has been corrected.

PCR138: Modified the schedule create button in the schedule editor so that it now presents the user with all scheduling choices instead of just creating a schedule.

PCR139: The schedule highlight settings are no longer globally applied to all users. Now each user had his/her own highlight settings.

PCR141: Powergold now supports saving many reports to file in several formats (via the save button on the preview screen). When rendering the report to file there are many options available to control how the report is rendered. For example, you can configure the output to match the printed report exactly or you can configure the report to allow ease of editing.
It is now possible to save reports in the following new formats:
• RTF - Rich Text File, this is a popular format used by programs such as MS Word.
• PDF - Adobe's Portable Document Format.
• XLS - Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
• HTML - Technically you could save as HTML before this version but now the report will render much more accurately in HTML.
• XHTML - Extensible HTML.
• Rendered Text - A text representation of the report rendered to represent the format of the non-text based report.

• Printing from within the Music Library

PCR143: The Dira! and Streamline reconcile interface now present the user with several options when reconciling an hour that does not have any reconcilable positions in it. In the past the only option was to cancel the reconcile or continue and clear that hour. Now the user has the additional option of continuing and simply not reconciling hours that were originally selected but have no positions in the reconcile data.

PCR134: The Music Log Designer (music log printing) now allows up to 6 lines to be configured. Previously it was limited to 3. Also, the number of elements (or fields) that are allowed in the report has been doubled to 48.

PCR147: The violation and history display boxes in the schedule editor had global settings for their heights, widths, and column widths. These settings are now stored per user.

PCR148: A new feature called Violation Signals has been added to the schedule editor. It allows the user to configure different violation point thresholds and each threshold has a different color. For example, the user may set up the red signal to highlight any violations whose points are at least 75% of the total points possible for that violation. There are a total of 3 thresholds (red, yellow, and green). This new feature is enabled by default. It can be configured and/or selectively disabled by clicking the "Signals" button under the violation display box in the Schedule Editor.

The SoundExchange report now validated the Transmission Category so no invalid entries can be used that would cause problems with the file naming.

Fixed a bug with the auto-reconcile when reconciling multiple dates in a row. In some circumstances the reports and quick notes for days after the first date could contain entries for prior dates. This was not a common bug.

Added a new option to the History Analysis in the Coding section of Analysis. The new option allows the user to ignore non-music positions so they are excluded from the analysis. This setting is a per-user setting.

Added an option to the history grid in the scheduler to allow the user to turn off the quarter hour indicators. With quarter hour indicators turned off the grid will display single plays using the * character.

Fixed bug with the "Show blank days" option in the scheduler history grid that was making it impossible to turn this option off.

Improved the scheduler history grid play listing feature. In the past to display detailed play info you had to left mouse over a play and MOVE the mouse. Now just a left mouse over the play will display details too.

Updated the interface for the scheduler history grid so it is now easier to understand the available options.

The Streamline setup screen now has an option to automatically configure the reconcile format and link field.

Fixed a bug with the reconcile control that prevents a song from being reconciled as a play if it aired less than a set number of seconds.

Fixed a bug with the reconcile where in a rare circumstance it would be possible for notes and commands to be left out of an hour after a reconcile if there were no music positions in the reconciled hour.

The option on the logon screen to delete BDE generated support files has been improved and now supports multiple users in a terminal server environment.

Added the Southern Africa SAMRO report.

Added the sched_inse.entity element to the VCS Dira! schedule output XML from Powergold.

Added an Extension Maintenance Module to delete all unused clock notes from the database. An unused clock note is one that is not used in any clocks and is no longer in history.

The GEMA/GVL and GEMA Analysis reports now detect if the aired duration of a song is greater than the runtime of the song in Powergold and, in this case, uses the runtime of the song in report calculations.

Added a "Select Today" button on the "Edit A Schedule" screen to make it easier to find today's date in the list of logs.

When in any of the replace screens in the schedule editor it is now possible to control the history panel active tab, operator selection (Selected Artist, All Artists, Any Artist), and the artist and property selections.

In prior versions all of the history grids in the schedule editor represented a single play using an asterisk character. The grids no longer use an asterisk character. Instead the grids indicate a single play in an hour using a graphical bar that indicates the quarter of the hour in which the play took place. This is much more useful at a glance.

Fixed the Streamline interface so that the traffic file number is not part of title tag in the schedule output.

Fixed a bug in the Radiomax interface where the tag cLabelCode was not being imported into Code1 as it should have been.

The DCS Automation output now supports the traffic option "Map Traffic File Numbers to the Following Field" setting of Map1.

Added a new feature to the Maintenance and Repair section call Extension Maintenance Modules. This feature is similar to Extension Reports but instead of simply reporting data it can modify it. At any time necessary Powergold Support can supply a maintenance module to make custom modifications to your data, repair it, convert it, or help maintain it. A maintenance module file, like an extension report, can be distributed amongst users if appropriate.

The Music Library Filter editor has a new feature that allows a filter to be specified as acting upon all folders. This produces better performance when a filter was set to use all folders. It also means a user does not have to remember to update the filter when new categories or folders are added. The filter editor user interface has also been rearranged to better support some upcoming improvements that are currently in development.

Added a new traffic merge for the WideOrbit traffic system.

The Extension Report user interface has been optimized. A popup menu has been added and you can now automatically email an extension report source file to another user.

The schedule now automatically purges any quick notes that are no longer in use (no longer in history). Depending on how many quick notes you use this can improve performance quite a bit.

The India PPL report now includes artist information.

Added an advanced, automated interface for the Radiomax automation system. The interface allows automatic synchronization of information between Powergold and Radiomax.

Powergold now supports the use of automation system provided web services which can allow a more automatic and seemless integration with Powergold. As we get more requests to create more interfaces that can take advantage of this feature we will add more systems to the list that are supported. The new Radiomax interface uses this new feature. At least one other system is in development that takes advantage of this system as well.

Added 2 new buttons to the scheduler user interface to jump to the previous or next song. This is especially useful if a user chooses to hide notes and commands.

The Music Library and Scheduler toolbars have been updated to better accommodate available options.

The old Powergold internet tools have been removed. They have been replaced by new links (in the Help menu) to the more powerful tools offered at the new www.powergold.com website.

Various user interface elements and captions have be updated.

Prior versions of Powergold v8 have been compatible with Windows Vista. However, there was a special option that had to be manually set (only 1 time) when running on Vista. This is no longer the case as this option is now automatic.

Added a traffic merge for the Amily traffic system.

Replaced the existing BUMA report with a new report meeting the new specifications required.

User permissions can now be saved as a template to make creating new users and assigning permissions faster and easier.

A new feature has been added to future moves. You can now add recurring future moves. For example, you can specify that a song should be moved every May 5.

The Future Move Mass Changer has been upgraded to support the new recurring future moves.

The NexGen reconcile formats have been updated to support new specifications and some new NexGen reconcile formats have been added.

The Actual Average Turnover report is now sortable by the original list order or by any column ascending or descending. Original list order is the order of the songs in the current Music Library display. So this gives some powerful sorting options to this report.

The Streamline advanced interface has had many improvements made to make it completely compatible in any region. It now supports any and all regional settings for dates and numbers. If you use Streamline you will need to contact your Streamline support agent to be sure the proper upgrades are in place on the automation system side when you upgrade to Powergold version 8.24.000.0000.

The Radiomax advanced interface (previously only released as beta) has had many improvements made to make it completely compatible in any region. It now supports any and all regional settings for date and numbers.

The GEMA Analysis report now uses runtime of a song for plays that have no exact duration (plays that were not reconciled).

The "Map Traffic File Numbers to the Following Field" option in the traffic editor now properly supports mapping to Map1.

Added the SoundExchange report so users that must report to SoundExchange are able to do so.

The Media Touch automation output now detects when the traffic system is set to "Darts - Scott Output" and outputs the traffic type if it was delivered in the traffic file.

The traffic merge now automatically updates the type field of traffic if it already exists in Powergold and is different from that delivered in the traffic file being merged.

The Automatic Reconcile now has an option in the Automatic Reconcile Setup screen that allows it to behave more like a standard reconcile when it encounters an hour that is missing from the reconcile file. The option is called "Do not auto-reconcile any hours missing in the reconcile file" and, if enabled, will prevent an hour from being reconciled if it is not present in the reconcile file (even if the day/hour grid is check for that hour). By default this option is off to prevent different behavior for the many users already using the system. If you need this option you can turn it on in the Reconcile Setup screen on the Automatic Reconcile tab.

Some of the user permissions have been updated and extended.

The Quick Note editor now automatically remembers all of the settings of the last quick note for each Powergold user. A button is provided that allows a user to automatically load the last note settings. This makes is much easier for those users who were using the same quick note multiple times in a day but were not using it enough to justify creating a clock note for it.

The scheduler now automatically purges any traffic items that are no longer in use anywhere in the system. This improves performance by a significant amount in some cases.

Some database elements have been upgraded to support database improvements and additions that are currently in development.

Extension reports can even be shared amongst users. A number of Extension Reports are included by default when installing this newer version of Powergold. The dira! advanced automation interface has been upgraded so that it now supports duration times in any number format (as determined by Windows regional settings).

Added a new India PPL report and corresponding summary report. The new report is located in the Reports section on the International Reports tab.

You can now double click on an hour in any of the history grids (on the history panel) to automatically load the correct date/hour. You can actually choose the specific play you want to load within that hour as well.

Added a new field to the field selections in automation output. The new field is called Hour Song Number and this field numbers the songs (only songs) sequentially in the output per hour.

Fixed a bug that would sometimes cause the new history panel to not resize correctly when resizing with the splitter control.

Added a new feature to the clock editor so that when on a song position you can request a list of all songs eligible for that position. For example, if you are on a folder it would list all songs in that folder. If you are on a category it lists all songs in all folders in that category. It obeys any restrictions such as property includes and excludes (including ones with complex AND/OR logic) and it also obeys any artist blocks that are seeded with a specific artist. You can sort the songs using any column and the sort setting is remembered.

Both the one time and automatic hour copiers in scheduler now have an option to not flag the copied positions as modified.

With the addition of the new history panel in the last version it became impossible to change the history tabs when in any replace window in the schedule editor. Now each replace type window has new controls to toggle the history panel visibility and controls to change the history tabs as well.

Daypart is now listed in the display for the following Music Library searches: Title (T), Artist Display Text (A), and Artist Sep List (Shift+A).

Many Streamline interface changes have been made including a completely automatic and silent reconcile feature (both pre and post broadcast). Also, Powergold now automatically verifies the correct Streamline sync file versions are in place before communicating with DAD. For a list of all the changes it is recommended you review the latest Streamline specification and talk with your Streamline support representative. You cannot use this new version of Powergold until your Streamline components are upgraded by ENCO.

Added a new GEMA/GVL Analysis report. This report is optionally run after a GEMA/GVL report.

The GEMA/GVL report now ignores category non-music positions. In the past it only ignored individual songs marked as non-music.

The Scheduler Internet Output report now ignores all non-music events.

The Schedule Internet Output report now allows the user to specific the file extension and it remembers that setting.

Fixed a bug when use the scheduler Suggest tool when a packet was chosen in the list on the left.

The clock editor now supports different colors for the different types of commands. You can set these colors to any value you choose using the display settings option in the tools menu.

A new history/info panel has been added to the scheduler. The new history panel displays tons of history information. Some notes on the new history panel:

	The history grids are displayed on the right and the closest plays information is displayed on the left.
	There is a history grid for each of the following: Song (and non-music), Artist, Artist Display Text, Title, Property, Note, and Command. Right click any grid for options.
	If you hold down your left mouse button while passing the mouse over plays in the grid the actual play time and the details of the play (title and/or artist display text) are displayed. If there are multiple plays in an hour each play will be listed and detailed.
	The closest plays information is displayed for songs (and non-music), artists, artist display text, title, note, and command. Right click the closest plays box for options.
	The the previous and next closest plays are shown. The closest play of the two is highlighted yellow.
	You can set up threshold alerts so that any closest play less than the threshold alert is highlighted in red. A separate threshold alert setting is available for each of the closest plays type and direction displayed.
	For artist closest plays (which are based on the artist sep list) you can choose to include all artists or only primary artists. You can also choose to include all artist plays or just the closest of all the artist plays. Any artists that are not primary artists are indicated as such using a different font/style.
	For each closest play the actual play offset from the current play is listed. Also listed is the actual play time and the play details (match value and/or title and/or artist display text).
	The history panel is displayed or hidden using the history menu/toolbar options or by using the H shortcut key.
	The new history panel, by default, replaces the older H history window. The old history window behavior can be restored if you choose in the history settings. However, the new history panel provides orders of magnitude more information than the old history window. Therefore, the old history window behavior is just provided for legacy support and will be discontinued in a future version.
	You can adjust the height of the history panel and your height setting will be remembered. The column widths in the history panel will also be remembered.

Implemented a new progress window that is used in some of the newer areas and will be used in other areas in the future.

The auto-gen Map1 feature has been greatly enhanced. It now supports different generation options including GUIDs, integers, integer padding, and alpha char appending.

The support option to auto-gen Map1 numbers for existing songs now obeys the advanced Map1 auto-gen settings.

Made all the new replaces and searches in the Scheduler and Music Library (and other areas) able to arrow up and down the results list without having to leave the criteria edit. This enables the user to quickly change and browse searches without ever having to change focus or use the mouse.

It is now possible to use the Auto-Update feature for adds even if a Map1 number does not exist in the file (used when Powergold is automatically generating its own Map1 numbers).

A new Internet Output option has been added to the Scheduler (under tools). This outputs only music and outputs using the actual scheduled time in the Powergold scheduler. More formats will be added to this tool as necessary.

A new tool as been added to the Powergold Repair and Maintenance section to automatically create a problem diagnostic file and, optionally, automatically email it to Powergold support. This file can be used by Powergold support to help diagnose and repair any problems a user may be experiencing.

Fixed a bug that was in version 8.19.000.0000 beta concerning Web Links usage.

Quick notes now have an option to set default print settings so it is no longer necessary to always set the same settings each time a Quick Note is created.

Updated the Music Log printing area of the reports section. You can now choose to have non-music events print like songs (default) or you can set specific print settings for non-music events so that they look different from music events. Also, printed logs recognize categories flagged as non-music (in addition to songs flagged as non-music). This means that even unscheduled positions obey the non-music print rules (assuming you are printing unscheduled positions and assuming you have set non-music print settings).

Added a new report to the Talent Manager that reports the shifts for each talent over a given time period. The report displays actual talent grid content so if you use this report you will need to keep the grid updated with actual content for each day you plan to report.

Fixed a bug in unschedule when unscheduling multiple days under a specific set of circumstances. When the first day is the one loaded in the scheduler, and when just unscheduling some hours, that date would not get those hours unscheduled.

Upgraded some of the licensing components to make them more reliable and less susceptible to external factors such as networking problems, etc.

Modified the schedule replace window so that it displays folders and packets in the correct display order as defined in the Music Library.

The "What do you want to do?" box in the scheduler that used to be displayed upon opening the schedule when no log was loaded has been replaced with a new control that better handles the different display resolutions common today taking into account the new history panel.

In the past the Powergold repair and Maintenance utility was creating a PG Repair category even when it was not really needed. It now only creates it if it needs to populate it with something.

Fixed a bug with the text import and auto-update when entry date was included as a field in the template and the option to modify existing songs was chosen. In this case it would not be able to update existing songs and would log the errors. Now it correctly updates the existing songs.

All traffic users (including Streamline) – We have completely redone the way traffic is called. There is now a traffic setup screen. You can set the traffic system and default beginning and ending append characters. You can also specify if you want Powergold to prompt you for the traffic file every time (which is what it has always done in the past) or if you want Powergold to automatically select the traffic file. In order to auto select the file you must specify the file path and the file name format (beginning chars, date format, ending chars, and extension). When you configure Powergold to auto select the file the merge does not have to prompt the user at all and the whole process is fully automatic. In the event of a problem or a file name that does not exist it is smart and prompts the user for action.

Streamline – The Streamline menues and captions have been updated.

Streamline – The Streamline setup screen now has controls to automatically create the required category, folders, and custom song fields.

Streamline – The Streamline sync menus have been reworked. The Music Library and Scheduler both now have a special toolbar button dedicated solely to Streamline. This button is made visible via the option in the Streamline setup screen. The toolbar button is a dropdown button. The means if clicked is has a behavior but it also has a drop down component containing all options.

Streamline - The Music Library Streamline interface has been further “streamlined”. No longer does a form appear asking if you want to get all music or changed music. It is now implied by the toolbar option chosen.

Streamline - The Scheduler Streamline interface has been “streamlined”. When a dropdown option is used to send a schedule to ENCO the send schedule window appears. However, when the ACCEPT button is used there are no prompts or windows. It just all happens automatically with no user interaction necessary.

Streamline – Fixed a bug with the schedule output. The durations in the xml file were not padding seconds correctly. So a time of 04:03 was showing as 04:30. This affected music, command, and notes.

Streamline – Added the new time synch controls as defined in the latest version of the specification. You can now use the automation command Time Synch field to control the start times of commands in the schedule output. See the specification for the exact formats supported.

Fixed a bug with the text file import and auto-update feature when importing fields mapped to the following: End Time MS, Cue Time MS, and Intro Time 3 MS. All other variations (formats) of these fields were OK.

Improved the way the following field formats in text file import and auto-update handle milliseconds: Intro Time 1 MS, Intro Time 2 MS, Intro Time 3 MS, Cue Time MS, and End Time MS. They are now converted to seconds.milliseconds.

Fixed a bug in the Music Library that was introduced in v8.16.000.0000. The bug prevented you from being able to move (reorder) songs within a folder or flip songs within a folder.

Updated the new search routines (search by Title, Artist, etc.) and replace routines to properly support all international character set special characters. Also updated all other areas of Powergold to properly support them.

When in the Music Library there was an issue using SHIFT multiselect after some operations (like a refresh, jump, highlight by criteria, etc.). In some cases the items subsequently SHIFT selected might be more or less than what the user anticipated if the user had not clicked on a selection with the mouse or keyboard following the operation. This is due to a problem with a Windows component. Powergold now compensates for this problem so it is no longer an issue.

Updated some of the import routines to support new formats from certain vendors sending periodic song imports via file.

All 5 history grids in the Schedule History (H) screen have been updated and now support a new option to automatically center the current play (date/hour) from the scheduler in the center of the history grid. This is very useful as it allows a user to immediately see the plays before and after the current play in the scheduler. This behavior is optional (defaults to on) and the setting is sticky (per user). The is also a button to manually locate and display the current play as well. The show blank days option is now sticky (per user) and a new options menu has been added.

In the scheduler, when you select a new position several items update to reflect the correct information for the current position (violations, history, total counts, etc.). If you used the HOME or END keys on your keyboard to jump to the beginning or end of a log this information update call was not being processed. This has been fixed.

Updated the CBSI-ITC traffic import to read and store the category field in the traffic file. Note: Existing traffic will not have this information as it was imported prior to this data being read by Powergold.

Several settings in the Scheduler have been updated so that they are stored per user instead of globally for all users. These settings will be reset to the defaults for all users initially. But now each user can set them however they like without affecting other users. These settings include:
1. The 3 settings that control how the total time for an hour is calculated and displayed on the bottom of the scheduler (in the status bar).
2. The setting that controls what position will be selected after a flip occurs.
3. The settings that store the sort column and the sort direction for the violation window.
4. The violation jump options. These settings control what positions the Prev Violation and Next Violation buttons select.

The Digital Audio Player Setup screen had some captions modified.

The ENDO DAD - Streamline interface procedures to synchronize the songs in DAD with Powergold have been updated to support additional fields. These new fields allow the user to see the DAD Group and also allow the user to access the audio files via the Powergold Digital Audio Player feature (so songs can be played from within Powergold).

All of the new search/replace windows (introduced in version 8.15.000.0000) have been updated so that their operator logic choice is sticky (per user). That way if a user prefers the "contains" operator (for example) instead of the default "begins with" operator this setting will be remembered. Some windows share the same setting so that when it is set in one the setting is presented in all windows using the same setting.
1. The Music Library Jump (J) feature has its own setting (per user).
2. The Music Library Search By Title, Search By Artist Display Text, and Search By Artist Separation List all share the same setting (per user).
3. The Scheduler Replace By Title, Replace By Artist Display Text, Replace By Artist Separation List, and Replace By Composer all share the same setting (per user).

The Artist Separation List and Property selection controls have been modified to make them easier to read.
